Smoke from a barbecue prompted a call-out for firefighters last night.
A crew from Richmond attended the town’s Riversisde Road at about 10.15pm after reports of smoke in a wooded area.
On arrival crews confirmed this as a false alarm with the smoke being from a barbecue.
Firefighters extinguished the barbecue and gave advice to those present.
