pecsavers Richmond has unveiled its newly refurbished store following a £250,000 investment to improve its layout, clinical spaces and overall customer experience.
The King Street branch marked its relaunch with an in-store celebration featuring balloons, sweet treats and a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by special guests from Guide Dogs.
The refit involved a full strip-out of the previous design to create a brighter, more modern and spacious environment.
The revamped layout includes a new office area, dedicated zones for contact lens consultations and dispensing services, and improved accessibility with additional desk space for customers with mobility needs.
Earlier this year the store also enhanced its clinical offering with the addition of an OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) machine, further boosting its diagnostic capabilities.
Priya Aggarwal, optometrist director at Specsavers Richmond, said: “We are delighted to have invested in Richmond’s high street, and we’re so proud to finally reveal the results of all our planning and hard work. This refit represents our dedication to putting customers first—not just through excellent care, but by creating a welcoming, modern space that better meets their needs.
“It was a privilege to celebrate this milestone with the community, and it was lovely to see so many people popping in to support us. Customers will definitely notice a positive difference to their experience in store thanks to this investment, and we’re looking forward to continuing to serve the Richmond community.”
