Station Cinema to celebrate National Cinema Day with £3 tickets

The Station Cinema will take part in National Cinema Day on Saturday.

Hundreds of cinemas across the country will join together for the day.

Tickets will cost £3 on the day.

Dan Westgarth, manager at The Station Cinema, said: “The Station Cinema will play a range of titles from family hits, Elemental and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem perfect for some family escapism before the kids head back to school.

“The summer’s biggest releases will also be on the big screen on Saturday, including Margot Robbie in Barbie, Oppenheimer from director Christopher Nolan, Indiana Jones and The Dial Of Destiny, The Meg 2: The Trench and another chance to catch Tom Cruise in the jaw dropping, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part I.”

Tickets are now available for National Cinema Day online at or at the cinema ticket office which opens at 11am daily.

It is advisable to book ahead to secure your seats in advance.
