Store launches hunt for mystery Valentine’s Day card recipient

A Wensleydale store has launched an appeal to trace the intended recipient of a Valentine’s Day card which was not properly addressed.

A post person handed the card to the Withywood Stores in West Witton today.

The sender says the recipient is an “alluring” and sexy blonde aged in her early 20s, who drives a Porsche, although the car is spelt wrong.

The card did have a name and partial address on it.

However, neither the postal work or store are aware of anyone in the village with that name.

We have removed the name just in case the love is unrequited and the attention unwanted!

Laura Hartley, from Withywood Stores, said: “We don’t know any more than is on the envelope.

“There is nobody living in West Witton that drives a Porsche that we are aware of.”
