
A man was arrested last night in a stolen truck full of stolen property.
The incident happened overnight in Brompton-on-Swale.
The vehicle was spotted by police on patrol who were suspicious and pulled it over.
The stolen property included an outboard motor.
The man was already wanted for other alleged offences.
Special Sergeant Nadine Slattery, who was back-up to the arresting officers, said: “This was an excellent example of proactive policing in North Yorkshire and the dedication of our officers.”
North Yorkshire Police are urging anyone who had items stolen overnight to come forward.
They should call 101 and quote the crime reference number 12170160741.
