Volunteers from Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team were called out today to rescue an injured walker.
The walker was in Gunnerside Gill in Swaledale.
They were treated at the scene before being evacuated 2km to the vehicle track and then to the ambulance.
The team posted on their Facebook page: “Thanks to the passing walkers who assisted and updated us with a better grid ref.”
The team is funded solely by donations.
