Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team was called out by North Yorkshire Police to assist a walker who had become lost near Great Punchard Head in Arkengarthdale yesterday.
The team was able to locate the walker quickly before escorting them back to Reeth.
Following the callout, the team renewed its appeal for donations to help fund its lifesaving work.
As an entirely volunteer-led charity, Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team relies on public generosity to cover the cost of specialist equipment, vehicles, training and operational expenses.
