A talk about The Old Grammar School in Richmond is to be held at The Station, Richmond on Monday, March 19.
The talk will be given by James Gravenor, of Richmondshire Building Preservation Trust (RBPT), who is leading the project to restore and re-purpose the old school.
Aided by a First-Round grant from the Heritage Lottery Enterprise Fund and from the Architectural Heritage Fund, the RBPT are working on plans to restore The Old Grammar School buildings.
The aim of the trust is to create a community hub, with a mix of community facilities, accommodation for local voluntary organisations and complementary commercial use to support the upkeep and running of the building.
Volunteers say nothing is set in stone and the proposals are still under discussion and review by the trustees and the building planning consultant.
If you have suggestions, please put them forward for consideration.
The talk will take place at 6pm and then be repeated at 7.30pm, and is free.
To book, email info@richmondoldgrammarschool.co.uk stating name, phone number and which talk you are attending
