Teenage motorist assaulted by motorcyclists after collision at Scotch Corner

A teenage driver was assaulted by a group of motorcyclists following a minor collision at Scotch Corner Services last weekend.

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the incident which happened at around 4.05pm on Saturday, May 22.

Officers say a male teenage driver was assaulted by a group of motorcyclists following a minor collision at the exit to the services.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

“In particular, we are appealing for information on any descriptions of the riders who carried out the attack.”
