Teenager injured after car rolls on Dales road

A teenager was airlifted to hospital after his car rolled over several times in a collision near Hawes yesterday.

The emergency services were called to Beggermans Lane at about 6.50pm.

Firefighters from Hawes and Reeth attended along with police and the Great North Air Ambulance.

North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said a Ford Puma driven by an 18-year-old had left the road and rolled several times.

The teenager was already out of the vehicle when the crews arrived.

Firefighters administer oxygen and first aid.

He was then airlifted to hospital  with suspected spinal and pelvic injuries.
