The Dales Community Pop Choir to perform concert at Masham Town Hall

The Dales Community Pop Choir with special guests Dixon County are putting on a pop and country concert at Masham Town Hall.

The event will take place on Sunday, July 14 at 3pm.

The award-winning choir was established in September 2015 by Yorkshire Dales musical director Debbie Allenby.

The choir of over 50 members, from all backgrounds, travel from all over the Yorkshire Dales to come together weekly in Leyburn to sing.

They specialise in pop music from all decades, from Queen to Harry Styles and perform all over the country at festivals, weddings and competitions, as well as putting on their own annual concerts at different venues across The Yorkshire Dales.

The choir are hosting the concert to raise funds for the whole choir to attend Edinburgh Fringe in 2025  to celebrate their 10th anniversary.

Dixon County was initiated in 2021 by drummer and percussionist Roger Jones, well known for his work with Blue Horizon, White Line Fever, and Dixon J Scott’s Ridge Riders.

They perform a broad mix of country songs spanning the decades.
