The Station to run art and craft workshops during half-term

The Station in Richmond is partnering up with The Creation Station in Darlington to put on a series of workshops in the October half term.

The Creation Station works with more than 14,000 children and families every week and runs creative arts and crafts experiences across the UK.

Jemma Gregory, communications coordinator at  The Station, said: “We are thrilled to be working in partnership with The Creation Station this October half term.

“Families are so important to us here at The Station and we are constantly looking to improve on what we can offer our youngest visitors.

“We can’t wait to see the work that the children produce and hope this will just be the first of many exciting new children’s events throughout the year.”

The Workshop details are as follows:

  • Tuesday, October 29– Fun Family Crafts

Two hours of railway-themed crafting fun, including painting, paper mache, drawing and stencilling. Suitable for ages 2-11yrs.

Workshops at 10am and 12.30pm. £8 per child.

  • Wednesday, October 30 – Slime Workshop

Make gooey slime and take it home in own decorated pot. Suitable for ages 4+

Workshops at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm. £7 per child.

  • Thursday, October 31 – Halloween Workshop

Spooky Halloween crafts for ages 2-11yrs

Workshops at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm £7 per child
