Thieves stole two dogs by breaking into their kennel last night.
The two springer spaniels called Poppy and Meg were taken overnight from an address in Scorton.
Both dogs were bitches.
Meg is liver and white and Poppy is black and white.
The dogs’ owners have offered a reward for their safe return.
The theft has been reported to North Yorkshire Police.
An appeal for information on the theft has been shared thousands of times on Facebook.
Anyone with information should call North Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting reference number NYP-29112020-0078.
