Thieves steal lead from Richmond building

Dundas Street, Richmond.

Thieves have stolen lead from the roof of a building in Richmond.

The incident happened at Zetland Square on Dundas Street between 2am and 2.30am on Friday, February 21.

Suspects climbed onto the roof and removed the lead from a business premises.

A police spokesperson said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

“In particular, we are appealing for information about sightings of any suspects or vehicle in the area at this time.”
