Tickets still available for Swinifest 2022

Swinifest.

Music festival Swinifest is back for another year of live music, local food and family attractions.

The event in Swinithwaite on August bank holiday Sunday will see several bands perform including Los Capitanes, a Spanish-infused acoustic band and headliners North-East based soul and RnB band Stax.

The event on Sunday, August 28 at Berry’s Farm Shop is now in its third year and is run by local cafe and catering company, Fairhursts.

Festival-goers can enjoy a selection of real ales from Wensleydale Brewery and Black Sheep Brewery, while food will be supplied by Fairhursts with ingredients from Campbells, Masham Sausage and Yorkshire Dales Meat as well as other local butchers.

Bon Coeur Fine Wines will be supplying a range of wines and an ice cream will also be available.

There will also be face painting and a bouncy castle.

The first act will take to the stage at 3pm with music continuing till late.

Event organiser Guy Fairhurst said: “We are so pleased to be running this event again and we look forward to welcoming everyone to the farm shop for a fun filled day.”
