Tickets to go on sale for Swaledale Festival

The Aurora Duo.

Tickets will go on sale next week for this year’s Swaledale Festival.

The online box office opens on Monday 26 March 9am.

Highlights this year include The Hallé Orchestra, Brighouse & Rastrick Band, The Young’uns, Apollo Saxophone Quartet, Seckou Keita and Angela Hewitt. 

 Also appearing this year are Aurora Percussion Duo, guitarists Craig Ogden and Gary Ryan, pianist Martin Roscoe, Rapscallion, Sacconi String Quartet, Dodo Street Band, the Hut People, harpist Catrin Finch, harpsichord soloist Mahan Esfahani, mathematician Marcus du Sautoy, Syrian musician Maya Youssef and violin sensation Jennifer Pike. 

 As well as world class music there is poetry, comedy, puppetry, workshops, family events, art exhibitions, pre-concert talks and themed guided walks.

The festival events take place over a large area of beautiful North Yorkshire Dales – in village churches and halls, arts centres and heritage buildings.

 Swaledale Festival runs from Saturday 26 May to Saturday 9 June.

Full price tickets range from £5 to £30 and almost all events are just £3 for under 25s.
