Tickets on sale for inaugural show of new music club

Blues guitarist Julian Socha will perform in Richmond later this month.

The musician will play at St Mary’s Church on Friday, March 31 courtesy of The Friends of St Mary’s and Found The Note Music Club.

Julian will provide an evening of acoustic blues and roots music.

Support comes from local band Drystone Blues Collective.

Found The Note Music Club has been set up to bring different acts to Richmond and Swaledale.

John Meara, founder, said: “I am delighted to have Julian as our first headline. It will be a great night.

“Working with The Friends of St Mary’s, the inaugural show will be held inside the iconic church and help to fund charity work in the parish.

John Challis, from The Friends of St Mary’s said: “It is great to see our lovely church being used by the wider community whilst raising some much needed funds at the same time.

“I am sure it will be a great success. Come and join us.”

There will be a  bar. Tickets cost £6 on the door or £5 in advance from Blues Night Record Store, 86 Frenchgate, Richmond or Castle Hill Bookshop in Richmond.
