Firefighters were called out to a tractor on fire in a field in Scorton last night.
Crews from Richmond and Colburn attended the incident in Forrest Road at 9.23pm.
The tractor was destroyed in the blaze with a baler also damaged.
A small area of the field also caught fire, a spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
Crews used a hose reel and jet and breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.
