
One of the North-East’s finest traditional singers and musicians, Bob Fox, is performing at Reeth Memorial Hall in Swaledale on Friday, August 25.
Since the 1970s Bob has duo’d with Tom McConville, Stu Luckley (Hedgehog Pie) and Billy Mitchell (Lindisfarne) amongst many others, alongside his solo career.
He was the original Songman in the National Theatre’s production of War Horse and, with Jez Lowe, Billy Mitchell and Benny Graham, formed The Pitmen Poets, celebrating the songs and culture of North East England’s coal mining tradition
