Tunstall community garden project gets £2,000 boost from Tesco shoppers

Thanks to the success of the public vote from shoppers at Tesco Catterick, the Tiger community garden project in Tunstall has received a further £2,000.

The project was started in January 2017 with funding from the Tesco Bags of Help scheme, and now the additional funding will enable the creation of a wheelchair accessible path around the whole of the community garden, making it accessible to all.

Project manager Paul Greenwood said: “I would like to thank all those who voted for us in store at Tesco Catterick, and to the Tesco community team for their support of our project.”
