Tutor launches new yoga and pilates classes

A yoga and pilates tutor is launching a new programme of classes after moving to the district last year with the aim of making the exercises accessible to all.

Jade Morris operated and husband Jamie came to Richmond from Surrey.

Jade, 31, ran a business proving yoga and pilates classes until she moved and now plans to launch a new programme of sessions in Richmondshire, specifically Richmond and Leyburn.

“In 2018 we moved to beautiful Richmond, and not once have we regretted our decision. People are friendly, the town is stunning and finally we can breathe.

“I’m very excited to be starting classes in the area and to be part of the community. I want to make yoga and pilates available for everyone; it doesn’t matter on age, size, gender or disability.

“For me, it’s not vital to create classes with the most advanced exercises and postures; it’s about looking at movement patterns and creating sessions suitable for real people and their needs.”

Classes start week commencing Monday, July 1

A variety of yoga and pilates classes for various levels are planned in Leyburn and Richmond.

Options for block bookings and drop in classes are available.
