A motorist and their passenger suffered wminor injuries on Friday evening after a crash.
The incident occurred at the bridge over the River Ure at Masham.
Their vehicle crashed through the parapet and ended upside down on the other side of the wall.
North Yorkshire Police said the pair were very lucky to escape with only minor injuries.
