UCI information available to Richmond residents

Information on next month’s visit of the world cycling championships is being delivered to residents and business owners in Richmond.

Newsletters containing key facts about the race, maps, road closure and parking suspensions are going out to homes in the town.

And all businesses in the market place are also receiving letters urging them to consider how the race will affect them, and to plan ahead.

The junior men’s race of the UCI Road World Championships sets off from Richmond market place on Thursday September 26 and heads through Catterick and Leyburn towards a finish in Harrogate.

The championships comes back into the district on Sunday September 29 taking in Hawes, Grinton and Middleham.
