Unicorn head the Scotts for Storage Wensleydale League after a 14-0 demolition of Askrigg on Saturday.
Luke McCormack did much of the damage scoring nine goals, while Liam Reeves netted a hat-trick.
Askrigg, who have taken points off the Richmond side in recent years, suffered an injury to key man Luke Dent.
This meant veteran midfielder Mark Teasdale was called into action, playing alongside his two sons Kian and Riley.
Spennithorne had a better week after a slow start to the season.
On Saturday, they won 8-6 away at Reeth. Two first-half red cards did not help the Swaledale site, with Connor Metcalfe and Ben Schofield both getting their marching orders.
Despite the reduced numbers, Reeth still managed to battle back from 3-0 down to the score being 5-4 at one point.
Luke Wilkinson grabbed a hat-trick for Spenni, with James Stanger and Jake Gamble-Schofield getting two each.
Nathan Howard also scored three for the home side.
Spenni grabbed another three points on Wednesday this week when they beat Askrigg 5-1.
Schofield-Gamble scored another pair, while Ellis Wing netted the goal of the game from 30 yards.
Askrigg’s solitary goal was scored by George Cockerill.
Elsewhere, the indifferent start made by last season’s champions Carperby continued with a 1-1 draw away at Richmond Town Academy.
Credit should go to Academy, who were very well organised, worked really hard and had some good spells of play.
The away team started with plenty of the ball, but their passing wasn’t quick enough, with a lot of sideways passes which didn’t penetrate a well-drilled Academy defence. The first time they did get it in behind, after a great ball from Ben Metcalfe was controlled and crossed brilliantly by Tom Barley, with Michael Dent running onto the ball and finishing with the outside of his boot.
Academy worked tirelessly throughout, with some good balls in behind the Carperby defence which in the main were dealt with well by the away team.
However, the home side got level when Carperby gave it away deep inside their half after great work from Tom Bromirskyj, who then cut inside and fired a great finish into the bottom corner from the edge of the box. The game remained 1-1 going into the break.
Carperby came out with purpose in the second half, but again Academy worked hard and didn’t concede many chances, with a couple of corners and half-chances of their own.
As the game went on the home team tired with Carperby having most of the ball, but despite balls into the box, Academy continued to defend well, with Carperby’s best chances coming with a couple of headers right in front of goal, but on both occasions they could only head over.
With the game into stoppage time, James Metcalfe ran forward and skipped past a couple of challenges before drilling a left-footed effort towards the far corner, but Will Rutterford made a great left-handed save at full stretch to ensure his team got the point.
