A major search is underway today for a a missing Aysgarth man who has been reported missing from home.
Neal Kerner, 56, has not been seen since 11am today when he left home to go for a walk.
He is believed to be in and around the Wensleydale area.
It is known he enjoys local walks including Penhill and Thoralby village.
Neal is white with grey hair and is dressed in walking gear with a checked shirt, black fleece, dark walking trousers and boots.
A police helicopter and mountain rescue team have been assisting the search as concerns grow for his safety.
