APPRENTICE ACCOUNTS TECHNICIAN

Job Description:

We seek an enthusiastic candidate who is keen to pursue a career in accountancy.  In house, continuous professional training will be provided to support your development alongside your AAT studies.

We are open to applications from all backgrounds and circumstances, and we can offer flexibility to achieve your perfect work/life balance.

The AAT role will be split between studying for your qualification and working as part of our team.

The role will include but is not restricted to:

  • Accounts preparation
  • VAT Return preparation
  • Bookkeeping

Person Specification:

  • 5 GCSEs A*- C or equivalent (including English and Maths)
  • Achieved or predicted to obtain A-Levels/NVQs
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft – particularly Excel and Word
  • An understanding of cloud-based software is desirable
  • Positive attitude with a flexible approach
  • Enthusiastic, motivated, and willing to learn
  • Thrives as a team player but also confident working independently
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
