Job Opening – Front of House Hotel Manager (with Accommodation)

 

Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 a year

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift and Schedule: 10-hour shift/12-hour shift/8-hour shift/Holidays

Frenchgate Hotel based in Richmond, North Yorkshire.

We are a luxurious 4-star hotel set in the quaint surroundings of an exquisite Grade II listed former Georgian Gentleman’s residence, perfectly positioned in the heart of the original and historic town of Richmond.

Position Summary

We have an opening for a front of house Hotel Manager, with excellent customer facing and strong leadership skills, who can work both independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate must have previous experience in hospitality management. The candidate must embrace the autonomy given to the daily running of the hotel and must have a genuine passion and pro-active approach with their work.

The Manager will recruit and develop their team and be committed to their career in the hospitality industry.

The successful candidate must have availability to either live in the premises or stay overnight, as and when required.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily oversight, running of the hotel and a bar
  • Maintenance of cleanliness of the hotel and bar
  • Dealing with Customer enquiries and general well-being
  • Stock management and control, in accordance with our company policy
  • Ensuring all legal requirements are controlled and adhered to as per our company policy
  • Able to ‘live-in’ or stay overnight as and when required.

 

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within hospitality
  • A minimum of 1 year in management role
  • Full of determination, enthusiasm, and patience
  • Fully flexible and highly adaptable to change
  • Essential Skills
  • Excellent communication and customer facing skills.
  • Able to work independently during the day, evening and through the night, when required.
  • Friendly, efficient, and reliable.
  • Proactive and driven individual who wishes to produce high quality service to customers and do their best to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of expectations.
