Valuable BMX bikes stolen in Richmond

Police are appealing for witnesses and information about the theft of two distinctive BMX bikes.

The incident occurred on Coronation Place, Richmond, between 8pm and 9.30pm on Thursday, July 12.

Two distinctive fully customised BMX bikes were stolen from a garden.

One bike is purple in colour and the other is silver and covered in stickers. These bikes are each valued at between £1,000 and £2,000.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.”
