A wall prevented the occupants of a car tumbling down a steep bank, firefighters say.
The emergency services were called to an overturned vehicle near Richmond this morning.
Two occupants of the vehicle managed to escape from the car themselves following the incident on the A6136 between Richmond and Catterick Garrison.
They were taken to hospital by ambulance.
Firefighters from Richmond were called to the scene at 5.45am to make the area safe.
A spokesperson from Richmond Fire Station: “Luckily, the wall stopped the car going down the steep embankment.”
