The district councils says snow and ice continues to cause disruptions to the refuse and recycling service across Richmondshire.
Many communities missed their collections this week – but crews are on the road and will get to as many places as possible, officials say.
Waste collections due to take place yesterday in the following areas will be collected today:
- Richmond
- Gilling West
- Scotch Corner
- Skeeby
- Aske
- Moulton
Recycling collections have been cancelled in all areas and crews are unable to return for recycling until the next scheduled day.
Householders are advised to either take recycling to the nearest bring site – check www.richmondshire.gov.uk for details – or place excess out in carrier bags next time, remembering to keep glass separate.
Christmas tree collections which did not take place on Thursday 18 January are scheduled to take place on Saturday 20 January in Catterick Garrison, Hipswell and Hudswell.
