Weekend of family fun planned for Richmond Meet

The 127th Richmond Meet will take place this weekend with fun and activities planned throughout the weekend.

Here’s what’s happening:

Saturday

Funfair in Richmond Market Place and events at Richmondshire Cricket Club as apart of the All Out Weekend.

Sunday

President’s procession leaves Richmond Town Hall at 9.45am for morning service at 10am at St Mary’s Church. Music, stalls, and refreshments in the Friary Gardens. The annual Richmond Meet quiz takes place in the cricket club from 8pm. The All Out weekend continues at the cricket club on Sunday.

Monday

Carnival procession assembles at Nuns Close car park at 9.30am ahead of the procession through Newbiggin, Rosemary Lane, King Street and into the Market Place. Fancy dress participants need to meet at the cricket club at 9.15am. From 11.30am there will be further music, tombola and family fun in the Friary Gardens The Richmond Met grand draw will take place at 4pm.
