A Wensleydale campsite has launched four new bespoke camping pods.
The pods have been built at Cow Close Caravan and Camping, based at Barden Moor, near Leyburn.
Owner Paul Wood said: “Following on from our success at providing our caravan, motorhome and camping visitors quality amenities in a beautiful Yorkshire setting, we recognised that there was a gap in the market for friends and families of those visitors who did not have the appropriate equipment to camp.
“In addition to this, we wanted to provide walking, cycling and motorcycle visitors with a relatively inexpensive option for short stays.
“Each pod is built to our unique design and is fully insulated.”
The pods sleep up to three adults or two adults and two children and have basic kitchen facilities including a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle.
Cow Close is holding a launch weekend on April 2 and 3 between 10am and 4pm, when visitors are welcome to view the facilities.
Bathroom facilities are provided in the adjacent shower block.
