The Wensleydale Creamery has launched an online deli allowing customers to order cheese and local produce to be delivered to their door.
As well as the cheese, the deli stocks locally-made biscuits, crackers, preserves and chocolate, as well as ready-made up hampers.
The creamery is also launching its visitor centre home and giftware range online for the first time, which includes locally sourced woodware, pottery and kitchen accessories to homeware, such as candles and diffusers.
Trish Cannon, visitor centre director at the Wensleydale Creamery, said: “Here at Wensleydale Creamery we are determined to do whatever we can to bring happiness to homes and support our customers to get their favourite cheese delivered to their door.
“Whilst supermarkets are facing increasing demand and pressure, we don’t want to see people go without the everyday essentials – we hope our online deli will ensure everyone is able to easily access our award-winning cheeses, as well as supporting other local Yorkshire businesses whose delicious food products and locally-made gifts are available through our mail order.
“With a wide range of local produce on offer, it is a great way to treat yourself or send special gifts to your loved ones, as well as support your local community.”
The Wensleydale Creamery has reduced postage costs from £4.95 to £2.95 (minimum £10 spend applies) to ensure as many customers as possible can enjoy of the online deli.
