
Wensleydale Creamery has announced the launch of a new loyalty card scheme, which will allow visitors free entry for 12 months to the Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese Experience.
Visitors to the Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese Experience an sign up for the new card which gives cheese-lovers unlimited opportunities to visit the attraction all year round.
The card will allow access to the cheese experience events and activities, including guided samplings of Wensleydale Creamery cheeses paired with local food & drink accompaniments in the new A Taste of Yorkshire tasting room.
Visitors can also watch the creamery’s expert master cheesemakers at work from the viewing gallery and enjoy the popular cheese and butter making demonstrations.
A#Other activities include hands-on games and activities, a children’s milk tanker, plus clips of the Wallace & Gromit films to watch, with colouring kits, quizzes and puzzles for the children, along with the opportunity to have a photo taken with the famous duo.
Speaking of the new loyalty scheme, Trish Cannon, director of the Wensleydale Creamery Visitor Centre, said: “As the UK’s flagship Cheese Visitor Experience, we’re always looking at ways to continue to update and evolve our offering. We’re excited to launch our new loyalty card scheme as a way to say thank you to our loyal customers by offering annual free unlimited entry.
“We want to ensure our guests have the most enjoyable and tasty visit and believe our new scheme will encourage guests to visit more often, where they can learn about our fantastic cheese range and other local artisan products that pair perfectly with them, as well as sampling along the way.
“We’ve further plans to expand the experience with cookery demonstrations and meet the maker sampling, so when visitors return there’ll be something different each time for them to enjoy.”
