A new butter launched by the Wensleydale Creamery has gone on sale.
The Hawes company’s Yorkshire Butter is the latest product to be sold under its new Yorkshire Creamery brand.
The butter, which goes on sale in the stores this month, is made using fresh cream, which is batch churned and salted to produce a rich and creamy butter.
Sandra Bell, from parent company Wensleydale Dairy Products Ltd, said: “The Yorkshire Creamery is committed to bringing consumers honest, tasty, authentic dairy products made with character and integrity – Yorkshire Butter is just that and we are delighted to be bringing consumers a butter with a true taste of Yorkshire.
“We’re proud to work with fantastic family farms to source the very best milk and cream locally to give our butter a distinctively rich and creamy flavour that makes every day meals – be it smothered on a crumpet or spread on your sandwich – taste that bit better!
The new Yorkshire Butter brand has launched in selected Tesco and Waitrose stores across Yorkshire, Humber and the North East, along with independent retailers.
It will also be available for home delivery on the Wensleydale Creamery’s online deli mail order offering at https://www.wensleydale.co.uk/shop
