Wensleydale Creamery’s visitor centre announces festive programme

Wensleydale Creamery’s visitor centre has a range of activities and offers taking place over the festive period.

These include cookery demonstrations, meet the maker events and build your own hamper opportunities.

Local artisans will attend the weekly meet the maker events each Wednesday in the run up to Christmas.

Live cookery demonstrations will run every Thursday, where you can also learn more about the creamery’s heritage and watch their master cheesemakers at work.

The new A Taste of Yorkshire room is open seven days a week allowing visitors to sample the range of cheeses and learn what local accompaniments pair with them.

From November 21, the creamery’s 1897 Coffee Shop will also launch its Christmas specials menu.

They will also be serving up an array of seasonal drinks such as mulled wine and Baileys hot chocolate.
