Across the Easter weekend, young visitors can help the railway track down their missing Easter bunnies along the railway line, with their Find the Bunnies Rail Trail.

Pick up a trail booklet at Leyburn, Bedale, Leeming Bar or Scruton station and track down the bunnies to win a chocolatey reward.

Nick Keegan, fundraising and marketing manager at Wensleydale Railway, said: “As a small, local community business, we love welcoming families to our historical stations and having the opportunity to showcase our rich heritage to the younger generation.

“Our free, family-focused Easter activities are sure to entertain the children, and with our kids-for-a-quid train travel offer, a visit to us is great value.

“We also offer local residents a 25% travel discount. Why not combine these two offers and enjoy an amazing day out on our volunteer-led heritage railway!”
