The Wensleydale Railway is offering a 50 per cent discount on train travel for Armed Forces Week.
The discount is available this week to members of the Armed Forces and their families.
Rachael Roberts, spokesperson for the Wensleydale Railway, said: “Since its inception the Wensleydale Railway has enjoyed close links to the military and to this day the Ministry of Defence continue to use the line for the occasional transport of military vehicles.
“The Wensleydale Railway were also honoured to welcome the 507 Specialist Team Royal Engineers (STRE) last year to work on a major infrastructure project as part of a large training exercise Turnout 20.”
