Professional dancer and actor Elliot Allinson is working with pupils from a Richmond dance group.
Elliot, who is originally from Darlington, is running weekly classes for students at the Rhythm and Shoes Dance Academy.
Louise Richmond, from the Rhythm and Shoes, said: “Elliot is a phenomenal performer and has for many years worked in the West End and also touring in shows such as Matilda and Billy Elliot.
“He is running a series of classes at our studios on a Sunday which will be a fantastic opportunity for children within our local area as it enables them to learn from such a brilliant performer.”
Louise said Elliot planned to look in detail at different musicals, teaching all aspects including singing and dancing.
“Our pupils are really excited about this and the classes are open to anyone over the age of seven years.
“Elliot said that he is really looking forward to working with children in our local area and that he is keen to share with local children and insight into the industry.”
