Mists of Pandaria Classic is heading into its final raid tier this summer, and the usual question is back. Every time a Classic expansion nears its end, players start asking what comes next. Many veterans who have stuck with Classic since the very beginning are now weighing a similar question. Certain changes in classes and underlying data structures that are already present in MoP Classic are equivalent to what was historically shipped with the WoD 6.0 pre-patch. The Streamer Summit That Fueled the Fire
In May 2026, Blizzard secretly invited several high-profile Classic streamers to its Irvine campus to an event under a heavy NDA. The guest list featured Xaryu, Sodapoppin, Esfand, Guzu, and Savix, who are experts in Classic content. None of them have spoken of what they saw.

Why BlizzCon Is the Real Deadline
All significant Classic transitions since 2019 have been of the same pattern. Confirmation is likely to be near the actual launch window. Burning Crusade Classic itself was not announced until BlizzCon 2021, several months before its release, in the same pattern as today.
That track record makes September a realistic deadline and not another rumor. In either direction Blizzard chooses, both scenarios lead directly to the same convention weekend for a real answer.
