Police are appealing for witnesses following a reported ‘road rage’ incident on the A66 near Gilling West.
The incident took place at around 1.20pm on Sunday, April 5, on the eastbound carriageway, and involved a Volvo and a Seat car.
Officers say two men and two women were involved in an altercation at the roadside.
They are now urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or who may have dashcam footage from the area at the time, to come forward.
