A woman was airlifted to hospital after falling down stairs today.
The incident happened at a property in Newton Morrell, between Richmond and Darlington.
Firefighters from Richmond were called to assist paramedics at about 8.45am.
They helped move the woman to a waiting Yorkshire Air Ambulance for transport to hospital.
A crew from #Richmond assisted ambulance crews to transfer a female casualty who had fallen down a staircase into an air ambulance.
