An elderly woman was injured in an accident in Wensleydale today.
The emergency services were called to Eshington Lane, near West Burton, at 2.45pm.
A car had collided with a bridge and ended up on its side.
The driver, a woman in her 90s, was injured, but her injuries are not believed to be serious.
The road was closed while emergency services worked at the scene. [kofi]
