
A woman has suffered serious head injuries after being hit by a lorry.
The collision occurred at about 3.50pm yesterday in Richmond Road, Catterick Garrison.
North Yorkshire Police say a woman pedestrian was hit by a lorry as she crossed the road.
The 28-year-old woman was airlifted to James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough with serious head injuries where she currently remains.
The road was closed and reopened at 8.20pm.
Witnesses should call North Yorkshire Police on 101.
