Barns, landscapes, the legacy of the Tour de France – and the odd hen with attitude – feature in the latest art exhibition at Yoredale in Bainbridge, the offices of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority.
Sue Dewhurst, from Richmond, uses a rich pallete, painting in acrylic on canvas, in an attempt – in her words – to “capture the spirit of the Dales”.
The free exhibition will be open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, until Christmas.

Sue Dewhurst moved to North Yorkshire in 2007 from rural Wales.
Last year, she was appointed an Artist in Residence for North Yorkshire County Libraries based at Catterick and Leyburn Libraries as part of their Creative Residency programme funded by Arts Council England.
