A £208,000 scheme to improve four Richmond play parks is underway.
The work will see Ronaldshay Park, Whitcliffe Grange, Coronation Place and Riverside Road parks in Richmond updated.
And at the Ronaldshay Park a brand new Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) is also being installed. There the old play equipment will be replaced in the toddler area, along with six pieces of inclusive equipment and a large cargo swing for the older children.
At Coronation Place Play Park three new items of play equipment will be installed – a lancelot castle, Viking swing and spin and bounce device – while at Riverside Road a crusader rope end swing will be added.
And at Whitcliffe Grange the tarmac surface will be replaced to allow for new yard painting of hopscotch and snakes and ladders.
The work should be completed by 10 May, weather permitting.
