Catterick boxer Elliot Done has claimed his fourth national title in four years.
The 15-year-old Risedale College pupil won his final at the National Amateur Boxing Championship on Saturday.
The championships started six weeks ago with Elliot boxing in Birtley for the regional rounds against the Yorkshire champion.
He then boxed in Liverpool against the Merseyside and Cheshire champions in the quarter finals.
The final took place on Saturday in Bridlington where Elliot beat the Western counties champion.
Elliot’s dad Simon said: “Elliot has had three tough bouts to claim yet another national title demonstrating that he’s one of the most promising upcoming boxers in the country.
“We’re very proud indeed.”
Risedale headteacher Colin Scott said: “Congratulations Elliot from everyone at Risedale Sports and Community College; a well deserved victory for all your hard work and dedication.”
