Young dancers receive certificates and awards for exam success

Young dancers have received their certificates and awards for passing their latest exams.

Staff at the Rhythm and Shoes Dance Academy have spoken of their pride after all pupils passed with high marks, many with honours and distinctions.

Hazel Richmond, director, said: “We are so proud of all of our students who have worked incredibly hard to achieve these results and who were delighted to receive their awards.”

She added: “2024 has definitely got off to a flying start, beginning with our dance academy being awarded Dance School of the Year North Yorkshire for the second year running, followed by these excellent exam results.

“We are so proud to be a multi-award winning dance academy in recognition of our commitment to our local community, our family feel and our dedication to our students and what better day to celebrate than today National Women’s Day.

“With panto season ending for us last week, preparations are now well underway for our shows at the Georgian Theatre Royal in Richmond which take place in July 2024. Everyone is very excited and looking forward to our performances.”

Rhythm and Shoes takes pre-school children from age two years through to adults of all ages.
