A brother and sister have enjoyed a summer of success in the show ring.
Seven-year-old Myles Hartland and his sister, Margot, who is just three, are members of 3 Valleys Riding Club, based at Richmond Equestrian Centre.
When the lockdown was lifted in July, the club organised a series of STARS shows.
Myles was only six when the shows started and turned seven in the summer.
He won the lead rein mountain and moorland section on his purebred Dartmoor pony, Cayberry No Doubt.
He then went on to win the best lead rein equitation, which is based on the rider’s performance.
Mum Rebecca said: “Snapping at his heels the whole way was his little sister Margot and her welsh pony Dyfed Snapdragon.
“She actually beat him in one class at the final show.
“It’s been great to get out to these shows although a bit different with no spectators allowed.
“Richmond Equestrian Centre have very good systems in place and the whole series was very well organised.”
