Young people are being invited to join a 12-week programme aimed at helping them move into education, training or employment.
The TEAM Programme is currently being delivered by Stockton Riverside College at Risedale School in Catterick Garrison and is open to people aged between 16 and 25.
Although the latest programme has already started, organisers say places are still available and are encouraging young people who could benefit from the scheme to come forward.
Participants receive a bus pass to help with travel as well as a £15-a-week bursary.
The programme is led by Stockton King’s Trust Team Leader Seveci “Nav” Navelinikoro and is designed to provide young people with support and opportunities to help them take their next steps towards work, further education or training.
Nav said referrals were still being accepted and interviews could be arranged for prospective participants.
Organisers are also looking to hear from local organisations which could work with those taking part in the programme.
Groups and organisations which provide activities, workshops or other sessions that could benefit the young people are being invited to visit Risedale School and share their skills and experience.
Nav said: “If your organisation offers something that could benefit our students, we would be very happy to invite you to Risedale School to deliver a session and speak with the young people.”
Anyone who knows a young person aged 16 to 25 who could benefit from taking part is encouraged to contact the programme team to arrange an interview.
